Tried a hacksaw and it didnt do the trick.I do like the idea of using air powered tools I'll have to check into buying a compressor.
Bear in mind that pneumatic tools are not meant to be used underwater and will get effed-up in short order. Buy 'em cheap (Harbor Freight- ya gotta love 'em) and don't expect them to last for more than a couple of dunkings.

sorry... U buy the compressor then buy the regs and hoses and quick connects and stuff sepperate and thats how u make it cheaper?
Correct. Plus, you can buy better parts than the hookah manufacturers sell. The air hose you'll get from them for instance, is the cheap, yellow, stiff floating crap that is intended for the recreational dive market. I buy the black, sinking, high-end commercial-grade air hose for my personal use. I've never bought it new, always used. craigslist & ebay are your friends.
