Okay so 3500 is considered HP and 2400 is LP

Its not that a certain PSI means that a tank is LP or HP (although it is obviously indicative). Rather, the construction of a high pressure tank allows the tank to sustain a greater PSI...HP and LP are tank-centric terms, not PSI-centric.

I have PST HP120s and love them. I paid $200 each with hydro due in three years. Never had a problem getting a fill to 3500 psi. 3000 psi gives you over 100 cubic feet anyway.
