I found some lighted corks at wally world and atteched it to my reg for night diving. No leaks to 80 feet so far. Might work in murky water too.

I cut the bottom out of my wetsuit so I'm constantly mooning everyone.

Wear swim trunks with really loose leg holes. Everyone will KNOW it is you from behind!

As a group we all have lazer-stiks of different colors mine is blue, others are red, yellow and some flash some don't. Attached to our first stage. These are made of course for night dives but work well in low light, and even on sunny days at depth. http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/Item...vSrchSortField=Relevance&SortDesc=False&Hit=1
Or glow sticks also work well as they are beginning to come in different colors these days.

Tigern:
Just looking for serious (ok, maybe some humorous) suggestions on how to make yourself almost instantly recognizable underwater.
I dive with many different people and would like to make it easy on them to find me. I am also a DMC and will be leading divers for money in the near future so I’d like to make it easy for them to spot me. I also think it would come in useful when diving with groups of divers that if I’m recognizable underwater as a DM then they could approach me underwater if they are having problems.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions!
I know a dive operator in Coz who wears striped kee high socks on the outside of his wet suit legs..claims the fish recognize him!

look for the bubble trail........:D
ROFLMAO!!

Thinking back to the last time I followed a DM (the late Tulio of Roatan, a sweetheart of a guy. RIP friend. Don't listen to all this crap on that other thread) he told us to look for him with his blue fins. I think fins are the easiest and quickest things for students to pick out.
But some tanks with covers are easy to pick out too.

I was thinking about spiraling reflective tape on my tank or maybe painting something crazy on it.

I saw a guy in cave country that had a flame job done on his doubles.

To distinguish ourselves from students, our staff used to wear gaudy, bright, large men’s boxer shorts over out wet- or dry-suits. Since I have no hips, I augmented mine with bright suspenders.
Advantage: properly chosen the shorts really stand out.
Disadvantage: it’s one more thing to remember when kitting up.

I had all of my hoses wrapped in different colors. Even my non-diving family and friends could pick me out of an underwater crowd from a distance in a picture or on video.

There are a couple of pictures of me in this thread, could you identify me if the pic hadn't been labeled?
