Funny thing about that. I still remember the 80's and 90's like they were a few years ago.

After going over the links again, and I have been keyword searching purus here and reading everything that mentions it, it probably is an older purus.

Gas motor was bought from harbor freight (still has the tag on it) for more than I paid for the entire system. I don't have any questions there, I can break that down and rebuild it completely without a manual for 95% of it.

I am approaching the compressing side with a healthy respect for... what failures can do. Otherwise it would all be apart and soaking in a parts cleaner as we speak.

sadly, I am out of town for about ten days starting soon, so I won't even be around to poke it.

I have several pool pump electric motors. I wonder if one of those would run this?
