What happened to the stories you "older" guys were going to tell?

I'm 53 and got into scuba 2 years ago.
I would like to hear (read) more!!!!

Like our dive courses: Spit in your mask. Rub it around until it squeeks. Give a quick rense. Put your lips over the mouthpiece and hold the bits in your teeth. Don't hold your breath coming up. Lets go. Graduation was survival.
