Roughly how much weight do I have to add going from 7mm wetsuit to a drysuit?

I use the same weight with a 2pc 7mm wetsuit and a Whites Polarflex dry suit with the 2 pc light fleece undies. I have to add a bit with the heavy weight fleece.

Your mileage may vary.

Depends on what type of drysuit it is (trilam, crushed neoprene or full neoprene). Also depends on the type & thickness of the undergarment worn with it. The thicker (more loft), the more weight that will have to be worn.

It also depends on the type of wet suit you have. If you are using a 2 piece farmer john 7mm (1/4 inch) suit, you may use less weight with a thin skin dry suit like a trilam or rubber shell.

I wore about 18-20 lbs with my farmer john 7mm wetsuit and about 45lbs with my shell drysuit and Whites MK3 undergarment. With my neoprene drysuit and old Viking open-cell foam undergarment it was about 28 lbs. -So it will vary widely depending on the suit/undergarments.
