How many "tech' dives do you do in a year?

Pretty simple question.
How many dives in a year do you do that involve either planned deco,penetration,>40m or 120',multiple gasses,ice or any other condition considered "technical"?

I dive a lot,hence the name.I figure 200 to 250 a year are >120',wreck penetration or multi-gas.I plan on deco most dives

I guess since I dive almost exclusively on a megalodon rebreather all my dives are considered technical. I also figure even the fish-n-weed dives I do I end up incurring some amount of deco so 101-200 for me.

I'm not sure. but it's becoming less and less as the dives get longer and longer

By whom? Definitions vary from agency to agency and person to person. I don't consider any dives to be technical.

Hard for me to say right now, as I'm just starting out. I can say right now that all my "tech level" dives have been in training. I have my 4 dives from my Adv. Nitrox & Deco course & I have about 25 dives in my cave courses right now. I'm hoping to finish up my cave course this year & do a technical (deco) dive on the Oriskany this summer.

Last year ...

- cave dives ... 33
- dives deeper than recreational limits ... about 30
- dives within recreational limits that incurred some required deco ... another 30 or so
- solo dives ... I dunno, maybe 75 or 80

Well, I'm doing somewhere near 40 to 45 cave dives a year, and just a handful of staged decompression dives, but I think I can say it adds to about 50. Almost all cave diving, though. I still have problems viewing a 90 minute dive to the impressive depth of 20 feet as a "technical" dive . . .

I know the feeling. I am doing fewer and fewer dives every year but many of those I do are either much much longer, or have major logistical buildups. Net <50/year.

I'm doing about 50 a year max, but those dives are close to a total of 100 hours I'd assume.
