Gibbon and I are headed to Tampa on Friday for a business conference. I'd rather not pay $400 for two nights at the Wyndham! Anything nearby would be cool. The conference is on Harbour Island Blvd at the Wyndham Hotel. Is there anything less expensive but NOT a roach motel nearby? I was looking at a La Quinta and a Holiday Inn both just West of the conference. I'm hoping that there will be hotel rooms available for the weekend with evacuees coming back. If not, is there anyone in the Tampa are that wouldn't mind two SB Buddies crashing at their place Friday and Saturday nights? I'll be checking on rez this afternoon when I wake up. Always nice to have a fallback plan though. Also if they cancel the conference due to "rain" anybody want to show us a dive spot or two?
