Bought out by a chain? Hard to believe this can lead to anything good. At least for us tourist divers. They will probably make a few enhancements worth $5/nt and raise rates $20/nt.

It's great news for people with a ton of Wyndham points. Probably means prices will go up for everyone else.

Hopefully better food/menu?

What does this mean for Aldora and Dive Paradise? Aldora just had some special announced with Hotel Cozumel?

Just did a dummy booking for Apr 2021 for a Sat to Sat. The cheapest refundable was $157 a night for two but includes breakfast. Room only no diving. Points were 15,000 per night.

Pork, pork, pork morning, noon, and night, but no bacon in sight.

Whatever they do, It couldn’t be any worse than that.

When the Reef Club (now Sabor etc) went with the Wyndham name many years ago it was still under the same ownership start to finish when Wyndham dumped them because Legionaires Disease was found there. From what I understand it's more a leasing of the name to become part of the franchise setup.

Compare that with the Grand Occidental where you get three squares daily, alcohol included...diving extra. Our 8 nights Dec 12-20th is $1085.00 for two!
