After trying a number of different things, no I didn't try burning, I tried out a solution saw earlier online. I read on a few threads about baby shampoo, so I put a layer of straight shampoo on a dry lens and let it set a few days. After a quick dunk/rinse before the dive... it worked great! Super clear the entire dive and no issues.

Thanks to all that had done that in the past and posted.
