Quite a dramatic change. So what is A1?

Looks like it works quite nicely. It did some exposure correction as well no?

I'm not sure what A1 (Almity1) did....when we were at the Rock and we were looking at pics on my laptop... his and other people's I asked him to download that shot and try to remove the back scatter spot for me... I was amazed at how well he "fixed" it. I know he uses Photo shop... I have Roxio... I am just experimenting with my program.... not using auto enhance that never seems to work right to me..

:blinking:Almity1 is Almitywife's other half. She is a Mod here on SB and we have known them before we got on SB. He is an instructor and also teaches PADI Photography courses. We went to Lady Elliott with them.

Ahhh.....I see. I thought A1 was some double secret new software. I haven't played with Photoshop yet. I will have it on my next PC....er ah...Mac. Yup....might move away from the dark side. :dork2:

I'll pull the pic I was just working on...The one I posted with the heaps of sharks was pretty poor because of the poor viz but I liked the number of sharks in it.. wanted to see if I could bring them out a bit

Wow petunia, love the fixes you've made to your photo! How do you get rid of the backscatter?? I have a few shots that would do well with some backscatter removal!

:rofl3::rofl3:welll I have been resisting retouching shots... staying the purist... not "going to the dark side but I am quite intrigued now:shocked2:

S. Will your camera accept a strobe on an arm. I do believe there are kits that allow you to do this. Part of the kit is a black patch and fiber optic cable that mounts over your camera's flash. The strobe on the arm is then fired from the camera's flash. That'll take care of a lot of your backscatter right there.

hey Sas have you met my friend Bygolly yet....
Bygolly Sas was with us invading the rock so knows how hard it was to get rid of back scatter...
A1 has a massive camera setup probably worth nearly as much as our car lol hang on I'll post a couple shots one with sas and one with A1..... heheh any excust to post pics
