I learned that from a secratary I had once. I would come in to work and she always had something to complain about.... I would try to cheer her up and feel so bad for her until I realized she didn't WANT to be cheered up... she didn't want to be happy:shakehead: omg how sad!

Poor dear inherited $150,000.00.... this would be 20 years ago now.. and she was sooo upset...it wasn't enough money to buy the house she REALLY wanted... she had to settle for buying it and having a mortgage!:shakehead: Then she inherited some more but it wasn't enough then either...

Oh the poor thing, only $150,000.00? My that would hard to live on...;)

:rofl3::rofl3:me too... but I don't mind laughing out loud tho... if someone wants to think I am crazy go for it.... :eyebrow:

A little craziness is always good I reckon, gets the cobwebs out!

:blinking:some people are so insecure that they need to pick others apart to make themselves feel adequate:shocked2:

My Ex's mother used to cmoe and check for dust on the top of the doors and door frames. We lived on a farm and I was busy with a baby and conditioning horses for show.. breeding mares and foaling them out. At first it used to bother me when I knew she was coming... tried to clean up perfectly... she had to work harder to find stuff wrong:blinking: Then I realized I should be kind to the old gal... make it easier for her to find stuff so she could feel superior:eyebrow: Made both our lives easier:rofl3::rofl3:

I used to have this cool tshirt.. said "Normal is Boring!":rofl3::rofl3: wore it out!

:blinking:Painted a Happy face on the roof of our barn so when the aircraft flew over to drop the skydivers a few miles away they had something to smile about:)

Some people like picking fault too, so they can feel superior. But as you say they're usually the opposite, problems with self image and trying to bolster their ego a bit.

Sounds a bit like my ex MIL...but she's okay now, thank goodness!

Yes, do tell! :D

hmm maybe type it anyway

The plane had just dropped off a load of skydivers and circled to head back to the airport about 40 km from the drop zone. The pilot had a friend with him for company that day normally he was alone as it was a fairly small plane.

His friend noticed someone riding a horse way off in the bush... miles from any roads. He saw the rider fall off the horse and not be back up. He told the pilot to circle and they saw the horse head off but the rider still wasn't moving. They radioed for help and circled until a chopper could come in and land in a small clearing near the guy. The paramedic in the copper loaded the guy up and they took him to the hospital.

They phoned his wife to let her know he was in the hospital. He had a heart attack but was ok. She didn't know he was even missing. She got in the car to drive to town as the horse came into the barnyard riderless.

It wasn't his day to die obviously. He recovered and quit his job and started his own bookshop like he had always wanted to. Still runs that bookshop nearly 25 years later!

True story... I know the guy! He wound up in the hospital faster than if he had gotten sick at home... what are the chances of that hmm?

Wow, quite a story. As you say, it wasn't his day.

It can take something like that to make you realise what's important in life hey?
