gee it is nice to see a friendly ummm errr.... face....umm fingers... err.... post... :eyebrow:

Yes, it is.

I've had problems processing all the stuff in my life lately so I thought I'd go missing for a couple of days! Better now. :D

yep... we learn things from the most unlikely sources....

Archie Bunker used to really annoy me but I learned some really important life lessons from him... about consideration and manners... some times we learn passively by observing good or in some cases bad things... all about learning isn't it my friend?

Excellent :consolation: you have sure been in the middle of pure hell lately... and I am inspired by the way you have been coping:blinking:

True. Learning can be a steep curve sometimes though.

Less hell than most. I withdraw when I'm not coping, but I'm trying to change that.

more for some than others:blinking: I'm a bit slow myself sometimes... took me ages to find out I could learn by other's mistakes... don't have enough time to make all the mistakes myself :eyebrow:

Nothing wrong with that. The key is to know when to withdraw and when not to. I think it is all about learning our limits and gently extending them when we are ready. :hugs:

I think my limits (and maybe my tolerance for nonsense!) have lessened this past year! :rofl3:

:rofl3:oh I have found through the years (quavery old lady voice here) that limits are flexible... change back and forth depending on other issues and stresses at any given time!:blinking:

I finally reached a place (well today anyway:rofl3:) where I realize some things or even people don't deserve the energy it takes to get upset with them:shocked2:

So true, toxic people aren't worth having energy expended on them...

Did anything happen at work to make you feel that way today?

Actually had a decent class the last couple days... some behind the scenes stuff ..... well :rofl3: I try not to forget this is a public forum and anyone has a right to read what I print in the public part of it:blinking: so a little common sense is in order hmmm?

Someone mentioned to me that they know of a case where someone was passed over for a job and a promotion because they said some stuff on a public internet forum.... chicken do come home to roost sometimes:rofl3:

n ot a bad thing really :blinking:
