3442 tanks are Exemption tanks and therefore should NOT be plus stamped. The hydro shop is obviously not trained very well.

Exactly. Only 3AA cylinders qualify for a + stamp
 
3AA and 3A, if I may nitpick.

It would be good fun to see the logbook of the hydroshop that ""+" marked the 3442 exemption tanks. I wonder how they did the test?

I can tell you if they done this I wouldn't think there records are worth looking at. How many other tanks has he stamped plus that weren't qualified for one?
