Ber Rabbit:
Is Gilboa going to be open on weekends through the winter or did Mike close it down? He was still deciding last time I talked to him (November I believe). Don't know if I'll be diving this winter anyway, the hubby's 25th anniversary dive in December left my hands freezing for hours afterwards and I can't afford dry gloves until Christmas is paid off. We'll be heading to Naples, FL Feb. 18-23 for a business meeting and we have extra time after the meeting so we can drive to the Keys and get a couple dives in. I'm hoping to meet with Walter while we're down there and see if we can do the Venice beach shark tooth dive again too, that was my favorite dive of the year last year.

Yea he is open, I got a winter membership this past weekend, there were no signs indicating any cut hours of operation.
Can I go in your luggage, I won't say a word :eyebrow: .

Check the website. The hours of operation are mentioned there. Besides, I don't mind cold water, but that surface interval gets mighty nippy after the sun goes down.

My error, forgot about that...... Thinking on buying one of those easy to put up shelters and bring a kerosene heater like I had in Bosnia.

My suitcase is huge but I don't think you AND my gear will fit in it, sorry! LOL! I'll give you a permission slip to meet us down there though, who would you like me to make it out to ;)

. Starting my advanced Nitrox here then moving on to deeper depths. Might just fly down in April to see the scuba show, I wonder if anyone wants to go on that trip?

Been to the show 2 years now and its a BLAST! Now that I have had a chance to meet a bunch of the Florida Conchs on my last trip at the Meet & Greet over Xmas-some live next to the show,it will make it easy to get a shore dive in if the winds dont blow too BAD!
And places to stay close are cheap! They have good food, music, dives, reps, and well tons of divers! and heck with airfare less than $150 RT for me I got to go!

Already gave Daryl my CC number to pay. Heather (or I wouldn't travel that far) and I are both planning on being out there. Actually, I would like to switch my schedule around and do a few of the dives that the shop (Discover Diving) normally runs closer to your neck of the woods.

I am bound and determined to see that helicopter this year! Hope to see you there.

Brian
