I've spent several years diving overseas in the nice clear waters of the Aegean and Mediteranian Seas thanks to Uncle Sam. I'm settled here in San Antonio now, took a refresher class and bought some new gear. Now I'm ready to meet some folks and check out the river and lakes ( when it gets warmer) and then hit the coast for sure! I'm getting to know folks through Dive World and Duggans. If anyone here doesn't mind a new-to-the-area diver to hang with and show around, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks,
Mike

Mike, best of luck,SA has a few good shops and a ton of divers.......keep asking around to hook-up with some, maybe through a shop event first.

Hi Mike,

Welcome back to the states. Glad to have you in Texas scuba diving land.

Are you science diver certified for Aquarena Springs diving in San Marcos?

Diving for Science : Aquarena Center : Texas State University

I will be there next Saturday working on replacing the damaged underwater camera in deep hole.

The rest of the year I spend most of my time in Lake Travis, and once a month with
a dive operation running a nice dive boat called Lake Travis Scuba:

Welcome to Lake Travis Scuba

Thinking about planning a weekend dive camp trip outing at Windy Point Private as soon as the Lake rises another 20 feet or so on that side.

Keep an eye on the blog of when and where Texas Swamp Divers are going out to dive almost every weekend year round to dive in this area.
