Hens and Chickens 7-09-14//pix

Today we headed out to Davis and Crocker reefs. Way too much current for us. Decided to dive our old standby Hens and Chickens. Viz about 35 feet no current and flat calm seas.
Water temp 85

Weather was beautiful all day until the ride home. Rain and lightning everywhere

Winds today were from 0 to 28 knts during the storm

plenty of marine life today but not really great for pix(tons of particulate in the water)

All schools plus 5 or more

Schools of tarpon, snook, permit and amberjacks.

Eagle ray, turtle and nurse shark

Some lucky snorkelers were able to swim with a pod of dolphins on the reef(not us)

I hear good things about that site, but never got to dive it. Maybe someday.

One of my favorite shallow dives when conditions are right. I am always jealous when you guys post after diving there.
