Question Help with random part ID (probably from reg)

Hi all, so I came across a “random part bucket” listing that I’m interested in
(g250 levers (I could use for destructive tests), Poseidon metric to UNF converter..)

I spotted a part I really can’t tell what it’s for; I came across the same part a few months before in another random part bucket — better pictures to come)

I’ll try to get better pics at home of the one I have already

I really can’t imagine what it’s function is, maybe a poppet, but also maybe some lever goes at the flat part..

Any guesses would be appreciated— it’s killing me not knowing

(Oh btw in the last box I finally identified some Mares HP seats (kinda like the picture but blue “hat”, old styles I guess); if anyone has use to them and is interested just let me know)

It's the stem of a cylinder valve. Most likely are current Aqualung, or older MDE (Genesis) valve.

It is a "negative" of the one you see in current cylinder valves.
