Hi all,

I have a chance to buy two steel tanks for $150. They are out of HYDRO. Here are the details....

- DOT - 3AA2250
- 190854
- 2 - 84+
- 4SC88
- 4 166 93

Can anyone ID them?

thanks!

Steel 72's

the DOT 3AA means the units are chromium-molibdenum steel.

After hydro, that will be almost 100 bucks apiece. Personally, I would try to low ball em.

Out of hydro they wouldn't be worth $150 to me either. Pop the valve and take a peak if you can.

Ditto the above two posts. Steel 72s out of hydro go for $50. Depending on who does the work you could spend $20-$40 for the hydro and dive shop's subsequent VIP.

Offer them half that and ask to look inside.
