Cant wait to talk to some opinionated people!! I have been diving since 1998 and now am quitting my job to become a recreational SCUBA instructor. Crazy but what an adventure this will turn out to be!!

I hope this finds everyone on vacation. If not physically than at least mentally.

Welcome to the board!

Ahoy there, welcome aboard! That sounds like a quality of life pursuit if I've ever heard it!! If anything, something crazy to do and if you've not done something crazy, no time better than the present!! Nothing to lose and great experiences and knowlege to gain :)

Let us know where you instruct... if its someplace warm, you may get a visitor. :)

you're gonna LOVE it here...

and welcome aboard!

Welcome from Canada. We have no opinions up here, only beer. :eyebrow:

Beer tends to make all opinions seem, well, reasonable.

Hah! Yeah, you'll get that here...!!

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue:

You know, I don't think a part-time instructor has a chance. Looks like you have to be full time, and either own the store, or be a key employee - not free lance.

don

BTW - it would really help if you'd fill out your Profile - so we can respect your training and experiences, or be courteous if you're a newbie?!
