Mo2vation:
I want to kick all the way out to DeadMans next week some night and drop on the reef.

Loved it.

Ken, I'm glad you and HBdrygloveWARMCOMFYDRYSUITgirl enjoyed the dive. :D But who will irritate the OCal divers now?!?!? I'm really gonna miss that.

HBMeltedEyeballsGurl:
It WAS more than nice. ...Until 21W of beastly-flame melted my retinas. I did a successful Braille exit and could begin to see more than a big purple glow by the time we hiked up to the cars.

On the surface kick back in, after hearing for the 7th or 8th time of "jeese that light is bright" (it should be noted here, Smurfette was cracking wise after not even ONCE being Zotted by my light) I finally cracked and did ZOT Ms.Warmhandz.

I should mentions she was safely outside the surf zone, so as to leave ample time to grow new eyeballs in time for the challenging exit.

Sheesh.

10' viz is fine on a night dive. No worries there.

However
- I schlep down the 405 pre-dawn, fight the nimrods for a parking spot, pay mad cash to park (change machines in a public park... whatever) risk a snorkel citation, brave crashing surf at the start of the dive and DCS exacerbating stairs at the end of the dive - and you of the bankrupt county deliver 10' vis during the day time.... we'll be talking again.
