Eric,
We generally only get up there with our customers that have been diving with us for a while or that I know we can trust not to break things. We seem to get there every now and then during the spring through fall when conditions are really calm. There's some really cool stuff there I've not seen anywhere else. I don't have any photos of the structure you're probably asking about, it's sort of like the LA airport tripod structure with a few more legs branching off at the bottom. The dive is really dependant on lack of swell, current and wind, some of the times we get there I just take a look and keep going on up to Kua Bay.
I've never tried shore diving there, not sure how the entries are. If you get out to the beach it might be worth snorkeling the heck out of it first and seeing if you can find anything worthwhile, the bulk of the good stuff is unlikely to be readily reached off the sand.
