I am looking to buy a new reg and from all my research and talking to divers I think the Apeks TX100 may be the one for me, I especially love the swept-back oversized exhaust tee. Alas, not a single LDS carries the TX100. Are they simply no longer available in the U.S.? I would rather buy from a reasonably priced LDS than mail order, but I do see that simply scuba still has them.

U.K. which still sell the TX-100. Coincidentally, I ordered a TX-100 from SimplyScuba last week. They were out of stock, but according to an e-mail from customer service today, they have received a new shipment and mine will be mailed tomorrow.

I believe that the TX100 was superseded by the ATX100, which itself is no longer being distributed in the US by SeaQuest, although it is still currently be made by Apeks. Just a US thing.
