Gas hypersentizing is used for long exposure photography with film, often over an hour per frame. You don't see too many hour long UW photos on film these days. Even AstroDad doesn't use film any longer.

The next set of my tanks that are too old to hydro are being cut up for telescope trunnions (side bearings) by a non-diver friend. When some photos are available I'll start a thread on those.

Feel free to use link however you would like to. Something that I don't think that I mentioned on the web page was that the tank was a bit out of round, which presented a challenge for the machinist to cut the o-ring groove. Shortly after the setup was finished Kodak quit making 35mm TechPan film, although it works with other types.
