Hanging a Drysuit, good idea?

@Marie13, That is what I am trying to figure out, I don't recall putting any stress on the zipper when trying on the suit, but maybe I did.
The suit is quite heavy, and I was concerned that hanging from the shoulders was not the correct way to store it. bare says folded or hanging in the manual.
For what I paid for the suit I could just walk away, so I don't feel too bad about having to spend a bit more on it.

There is a good likelihood the stress was placed on the zipper before you purchased it. If, for instance, the suit was slightly too small for the previous owner, he or she may have struggled to get into the top portion of the suit, putting stress on the zipper.
