catherine96821:why?
you are just queer for gear..
In other words he's a greedy capitalist.Mo2vation:Just the opposite, really.
If I can flip something for more than I paid for it, with very few exceptions, its so gone. If I can flip something for market value after I've used it, and parlay that cash to upgrade, I'm gonna do it everytime.
I don't get attached to stuff. Well, cash maybe. And my Halcyon cap. But everything else is on the table.
I own nothing. I possess nothing, Cath. I'm only renting everything. Everything I have will one day be sold to someone else. Its liberating, its profitable, its a great way to live - leaving a very small footprint.

SparticleBrane:I love my Eclipse 30, but I'm also really liking the Agir doubles wing I bought a while ago. I do have a Halcyon 10w HID though; it'll probably be upgraded to a Salvo 21w at some point.
TSandM:I wonder if, six months later, the OP has done well with his Halcyon venture?
I have a visceral resistance to Halcyon products, because of the behavior of some Halcyon people on line over the last two years, but I have ended up with a few Halcyon items because I just had to admit they were better. I have their SMB, their reel, and their webbing (which I love).
The LDS I go through, which is NOT a Halcyon dealer, up until recently didn't sell any traditional BCs at all. They insist they're doing fine.
Edited to add that I'm good friends with Seattle's "Mo2vation" -- A lot of us have benefited from Bob's gear acquisition habits!
