Yay! I get to increase my profile!
Conditions were poor, if I wasn't after doing my 50th today I probably wouldn't have gone back in. Did first dive at Breakwater, decided it sucked, went to Coral Street, was worse there (didn't get in past my ankles) then went back to Breakwater because I had 2 tanks and what the heck, at least if I was really close I could make out kelp and dead crabs and such.
Tried to do the wall but surge was too bad, didn't feel like getting knocked around against the rocks.
What's with all the dead crabs? Little 2 inch ones.

Congrats on crossing the 50th mark.

Are you sure the crabs were dead or were they molting?

Pretty sure the whole crab was in there. Good to know they molt too though. Saw a lot of fornicating (what I think was) cowries too. The cowries, that is, I know what fornication looks like.

:balloons:Congrats on your 50th!!! :balloons:

You want to decrease your dive profile, become more streamline in the water. If you are talking about your scubaboard profile, that is good too. Look at the bright side, on how much more you will appreciate good conditions. Congrats on dive 50!

Too bad you couldn't have done them down here on Catalina... vis has been 60 to 80 ft. Of course you may not want to be in such clear waters when you do your 100th dive!

Is that the naked 100th?
What's the water temp in Catalina? (As if I were seriously considering diving naked)
