Great Day at Guppy...

It's always nice to have a quarry to yourself. Our small group of 4 (myself, Chris, Everett and Simon) had a great day doing Wreck and Search & Recovery Dives.

Visibility was easily 25 - 30 feet on the newly sunken cabin cruiser (and throughout the quarry.) While the water was chilly (in the 40's) great vis made it great fun. The best part of having nobody else there - nobody stirred up the silt and it stayed crystal clear all day.

There were some monstrous catfish... bigger than I've seen there ever before.

They've done some nice work with a small little beach, some rearranged docks etc... The platform in the shallow end needs repair... not sure what happened there.

Cheers...
