ScubaNorth:Warm at 65 with a shorty. In most scuba books at 65 they recommend a full dry suit with thick under garments. Only in NE is 65 considered down right sweltering.
I'm a skinny guy, I get cold easy, I dive dry year round. However, lots of people like my buddy, grew up freediving in NE no exposure protections at all. BTW, I've seen a dive book recommend diving dry at 65degrees???? Usually the number if 50 or 55degrees.
But still, for here 65degrees is pretty warm - I think I would have been OK with no-insulating gloves.
