I never realized how expensive drysuit undergarments are until I started looking to buy one. Then I came across this product from GUL who are apparently a UK company I haven't heard of before.

Has anyone used one and have feedback? The price seems incredible, and 300 gsm polar fleece sounds warm and suitable to temperate SoCal diving. It seems like a product designed for sailing, not diving - but surely fleece is fleece right? Is there any reason to think it won't work? Thanks!

Found this thread, suggests polartec fleece is not an ideal material for undergarment (or at least just not as warm as thinsulate). Still, would you think 300gsm polar fleece would be good for diving down to maybe high 40s/low 50s?
