I just started researching Diego, a friend of mine in the Navy worked air traffic control there, he made friends with the British Military and they hooked him up with tanks and air.

Just got to Diego and diving has just now been authorized, there are some restrictions till MWR starts to get equipment and the chamber gets installed.

Until they get an organized & dedicated recreational diving club operation in place out there in Diego Garcia, the only tropical "special US military outpost" worth working at and Scuba diving during day-off's -IMHO- is Kwajalein Atoll.
