Just wanted to share this. My old Galileo Aladin Tech 2G went on the fritz. Local dive store diagnosed it as a circuit board and sent it to Scubapro.

Although long out of warranty, Scubapro replaced it with the new model Aladin 2G for $150 when that computer sells new for over $300.00.

I think that is pretty good service and will definitely be thinking about that when I consider an upgrade next summer, as the Galileo models are in the running.

Nice. Personally I've only ever received bad service/no service from SP although I imagine service might vary from location to location. Glad it worked out for you.

Good deal, nice to see a positive report too. Shame about the Tech 2G though.

Yeah, but things happen, and the 2G has an excellent gauge mode and apnea mode that the older model lacked. A nice upgrade in every way.
