So you can avoid the ones you have been doing?? :D

No, just to catch up with someone I haven't seen or dived with in a while.

Our club has dove Chicago for 2 years now, 2 -3 trips each year. We are looking for a new place to go. Is there any dive charters in the Detrit area or slightly North? Wed on't want to go as far as Mackinac if possible; thats an 8 hour drive; another 4 and we can be in Panama City

Links, Phone numbers , names etc appreciated

Thanks in advance
I did a lot of diving in Panama city Beach when I lived in the South, it is OK. Don't blow off Mackinac or the rest of the UP. I dived there this year and all I can say is WOW!

February issue of Scuba Diving has article on diivng a couple of the preserves on the UP.

I am given to understand there is a lot of good diving there and in other places in Michigan.

Good start is to check out www.michiganpreserves.org

I Know You Said You Didn't Want To Travel Far, However Tobermory, Ont Canada (Georgian Bay) Has At Least 26 Wrecks. And Most Of Them Are Shallow, And The Vis Is Great!
