My family and I are going to GC for a week and looking forward to go diving. Any members who've been there before give me suggestions such as:
1) Operators they worked with (all three places: GC, LC, CB)
2) Dive spots (either boat or shore)

I wanna maximize our trip so I want to get as much as good info as I can. We are also looking for good pricing on this so let me know also. So far, most of the operators I looked at averages about $80 on a two tank dive. I'm trying to stretch my budget too so let me know guys and gals.

Thanks!!!

You can also do some shore dives at the Turtle Farm /cobalt coast , eden rock and Sunset house. These dives will cost about $15.00 each.
These prices are with renting just a tank and weights.Don't know if you have your own gear. And you will probably need a car.

Thanks, I do have my own gear and we have a rental car. That will definitely make it easy.

Also you can do shore dives at Spanish Bay,they will also rent you a tank.

Spanish bay ,Turtle farm and Cobalt coast are all pretty close to each other.

Recently I have dove with Sunset Divers, at Dive Tech at Turtle reef and Eden Rocks. I would recommend all three places. IMHO, Turtle Reef is the best spot of the three, but I would dive any of them again.
I have stayed and dove with Pirates Point on LC and Brac Reef on CB. I would stay and dive with either one again.
Have a safe and wonderful trip!

Thanks guys, It seems pretty unanimous with all the places mentioned above. 3 more weeks and counting!! Can't wait!!:D

flipdiver,

I'm a little confused by your questions. Are you staying on GC the entire time, or also hoping to stay a few days at LC and/or CB? You have to fly a puddle jumper to get from GC to either of the other 2 islands.

We stayed at GC and LC in January. I dove with http://www.diversdown.net/ on GC and had a good time with them. Also did some of the shore dives mentioned on GC.

I dove with Reef Divers http://www.littlecayman.com/diving/diving.php at Little cayman Beach Resort, and Bloody Bay Wall is the most impressive diving I have ever done! A 6,000 ft drop with outstanding visibility, colorful coral, many varieties of fish. I've got some photo albums here: http://honeymoon2.smugmug.com/
Cheers, alashas
