...Dive ops here often send blanket emails out immediately to each other when we have a guest who has been caught telling a porkie pie ...

This statement caught my attention because it reminded me of the well-to-do American businessman that was caught on camera stealing dive gear, belonging to a divemaster and a guest, from the gear room of a dive op on Grand Cayman about 2 years ago. The news articles said that his family owns property on the island and have been visiting for decades. The article said that he was fined for his actions. At the time I wondered if that was the end of it, or if the dive ops on the island are no longer willing to serve him - because of his actions - it would serve him right, the sleaze!
