Hi all—
I've been a certified diver for many years and my son has shown increasing interest in joining me and wants to get certified this summer. I was certified many years ago on Grand Cayman and been a lot of places in the meantime, mostly in the Caribbean. These are the places we are considering:
1. Cayman Brac/Little Cayman....mostly because lasttime I went to Grand Cayman it was so much more developed and crowded than it used to be. I hear the smaller islands might be closer to what I experienced. But I've never been.
2. Belize...been several times and love it, probably stay at Ramon's though I've never stayed there.
3. Roatan. I've been once and stayed at Reef House on East side but would probably be looking at Anthony's Key resort?
4. Bonaire. Went to Buddy Dive once and this seems to be ideal for him but flights look a little problematic...more expensive and most of the flights seem to require an overnight (?)
Any other suggestions or insights from the group?
thank you in advance..
