Hello,
Just got back from BH ... this weekend (Weather was fine)
Same place even after the 'big' dredging operation.
The bottom is basically the same except for some craters that have been created
in various places.
The bottom inlet has not been touched and the cave system is
still as unreachable as ever. (no changes there)
I did notice that the Stainless toliet seat in the Mens bathroom
has been replaced w/ a friendlier porcelain one.
Very nice !!
There are some newer or repositioned cement blocks that have been installed
that divide the parking lot from the dive staging area. Meaning a little more
room for people to move around in.
I also noticed that there are now huge numbers of mosquito's that
appear late afternoon time. Holly Molly numbers of them.
Have fun there !!

We will bring some coils and spray! Maybe one of those net/mesh drop side shelters, for staging!

The Ultimate Bad Example
I was there in August the facilities were a little improved but even after the cleanup you should hope that the groups stay off of the bottom and dont do the Wilie Coyote into the bottom plenty of muck to stir up. Too bad I am heading to Balmorhea or I would be looking for dive buddies.

We are still going on the 20th. Just checking to see who else may be there.
We will have a really tacky, but patriotic, American flag (red, white, and blue) screened canopy!
I have to keep up with Ron! (and it was only 49.00 at sierra trading post!)

I just saw this thread. Sorry things did not work out!
I'd like to get the the Hole in November, or December. I'd have to look at the holiday schedule, but maybe the Friday after Thanksgiving, and we could dive Friday afternoon and get that good vis! That is likely not a crowded weekend, but you may have plans.
