I hope this is in the right place.

My boyfriend, Joe is very tall and we have custom suits and found booties. The next problem is gloves. When I bought him fleece winter gloves last year, they were sized 4x. It's his fingers.. He tried XL gloves on and needed another inch or better in finger length. Any ideas? Seeing as we are in VT, he will need them if he wants to dive here.

I am assuming that you don't have much of a LDS to work with. Gloves are usually measured by the circumference of the palm, see this example.

With that measurement try calling one of the online sellers to see what you can find. For cold water I strongly suggest a gauntlet type glove as described here.

Both shops (Victory and Waterfront) here carry XXL gloves. Those should work.
