I have been very happy with my Bare 5mm Gauntlet gloves.

The extended cuff works well on my wetsuits and my neoprene drysuit. The long cuff makes for a pretty effective seal and provides an extra layer protection to the blood vessels in the wrist area which in turn delivers warmer blood to the hands. My pair happens to fit on the comfortably loose side allowing for just a bit of water volume to be trapped. My palms seem to warm that water and when I flex my fingers the warmer water gets pumped to the finger tips, keeping them comfortable. These worked well diving in the coldest water we got last winter, 37F.

Pinnacle makes a 4 mil for folks looking for a compromise between a 5 and a 3. Comes with or without the wool liner. I have found very few 4 mils out there.
