glass bottom boats??????

I hate those boat captains who do that, Was on Koh Tao once when the thai captain thought it would be a good idea to pilot the dive boat over the dive site at full speed.
A diver separated from his buddy whilst trying to clear his ears and ended up going into a runaway ascent. Poor guy had his head torn open by the boat. Wasn't there to see it thankfully but soon enough the whole island knew within an hour.

It could be worse....

While our group was doing a deco stop at the blue hole in Belize, a boat on the surface (moored to our boat) started chumming for sharks! The apperance of three Black Tip Reef sharks had some members of our group fairly shaken. We were a fairly mixed bag of divers. Fortunately, the less experienced divers, were experienced fishermen, and no one did anything to agitate the sharks further. We did our stop, then surfaced slowly as a group.

We took a few moments to discuss it with the captain of the boat that was chumming.

Unfortunately in my previous post this incident was, the said diver died and the instructor arrested by the thai cops.
