How large were the paddlefish? We're going up to Loch Low Minn quarry shortly, since they've recently added paddlefish as well (only a couple of feet long, from what I understand, including the paddle...)

...sorry for the hijack...

I believe the paddlefish at Gilboa are quite large from the pictures that I've seen.

Check these out from the Gilboa website (http://www.divegilboa.com/index.htm):

:hijack: We saw the smaller ones, they were about 4 feet long. Mike says the big ones are as big as a person.

I couldn't find an example or template of the deep plan that Mike requires on the website. Bob, you might want to recommend that he put it out there on the website. If it's there and I missed it could you point it out to me? I think it will help folks to think about and complete one ahead of time. I think it is also good to force some planning ahead of time.

As others in the thread have pointed out Mike doesn't put forms on the web site, that was why I asked in the first place :D, I couldn't remember the form all that well.

This has been an interesting discussion, even if the thread did get hyjacked for a paddlefish discussion. BTW, the one and only time I saw a paddlefish was cruising along at 30 feet at that end of the quary. The fish actually looked us over for a while.
