I know there is a roll call, but I thought I'd put this out here too. It's been a while since I've been in the water and found myself without a buddy for the first time in 10 years. Would you recommend using the local dive shop to meet up with buddies or is there a better method. I swear this is way harder than dating. Maybe there needs to be a buddy find website.

I join the Saturday Morning Dives with Ocean Quest Dive Centre in Burnaby sometimes. There is also the Vancouver Area Scuba Meetup group.

Local dive shops are an excellent way to meet buddies, so is ScubaBoard. The Edge dive shop in N. Van hosts a drop in dive every Sunday at 9 am. Myself and my son are diving Whytecliff tomorrow as well and you're welcome to join us.
