Genesis 3.1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

I'm trying to figure out the diving angle....

I recommend removing the nose plug when you are not diving. The motor controller pulls a few watts of quiescent power when enabled, so leaving it enabled for 12+ hours over night can drain a noticeable amount charge. Salt spray will not affect the gold plated contacts, just don't stand it on the tail, so that water can collect in the nose recess, which will enable the controller and cause electrolysis on the pins. Salt spray will damage the charger, so keep the charger out of the weather.

Great. Thank you Jon for the info.

Can you provide a link to one actually sold in store? I can't find a standard USB A to A cable in any major store in my area.

They've never been a standard cable. You made the claim that it was available widely locally and I searched both stores you gave example of and only Best Buy had a specialized file transfer cables which might not work as they have a chip that allows it to deal with the host to host connection that isn't supported as part of the standard USB profile.
I bought mine at Office Depot. I could have ordered for next day delivery on Amazon also and saved 5 bucks. I rarely look at Best Buy anymore...my local store no longer carries the assortment of various cables, connectors or small items as they once did. Updating the firmware was the first time in months that I had opened the DPV.

Yeah I think I got mine off Amazon. It was easy to find online.
