The simulation mode allows you to walk through an entire dive as if you were actually making it. You can change the depth and all the displays will act like the would during the dive.Mr_Miyagi:The simulation features sounds interesting. How much use are they. For what kind of divers are the simulation features useful to?
I don't think so. You would need the simulation features in the vyper for that.Mr_Miyagi:And this works for planning multi-level dives as well?
I don't think so. Besides, who is in charge of the dive you or the computer? And by the way, if I do a multi-level dive. Can I make a time/depth plan where the computer warns me to level up etc.

DeepTrip:I finally get Vyper for me. And for your question, You can set alarm in Vyper to alert you if you exceed certain depth, OR certain minutes from total dive, NOT based on how many minutes you spent at certain depth.
DaveG:yep it was just about the same size as my ciitizen dive watch.
DM said it was titanium and cost about $900. that was a year ago.
DaveG:seven dives on the gekko and it is just fine.
2 dives were nitrox and it would not let me switch back to air until the no fly time passed. no problem just use 21% nitrox. night dive was no problem either, just shine your light on it.
if you dive air and want nitrox, it won't let you switch until no fly passes. so if you plan to do air followed by nitrox, use nitrox 21% for your air dives.
