Suunto D6i and DX compared to Vyper and conservative settings

Hi,

I am upgrading my Suunto Vyper. For reasons too long to explain I find myself with both Suunto DX and Suunto D6i. I'd like to make a decision on what to keep before going diving.

My main concerns about the Vyper are:
- being too conservative
- no air integration

Suunto DX has the possibility to tune the algorithm to -2, ..., +2 in terms of conservativism.
Whereas the Suunto D6i has 0 to +2, and another setting to tailor the RGBM to 50%.

Now the question is: Do you know how they compare to the Vyper?

I'd be inclined to keep the D6i instead of the DX as it has also free diving [never done it, but I could think about venturing myself into that speciality]. I know DX has rebreathers options, however I know I don't see myself developing in that direction. But the main question can the D6i be tuned more or less with the same flexibility as the DX? Or will I be stuck with times aligned with the Vyper [which are too constraining for me]?

Replying in case anyone out there was also interested.

I dove with the D6i, the DX and the Vyper at the same time using nitrox 32-33%

They were all on their standard settings:
- Vyper P0
- D6i P0
- DX P0

It turned out that the DX and d6i had the same no deco time, while the Vyper had a sensibly more conservative estimate ranging from 5 to 8 minutes less no deco time.
The DX has a further aggressive setting with P-1 or P-2, which I have not tried.
