Thank for all the ideas guys. Unfortunately I'm limited to about 6" of space under the bed except for the tanks. (the joys of a 1BR apt w/ a non-diving sig other...)

One thing about soft bags is that you can squish them down flat. It may not help the gear, but it fits.
