Gear insurance

I have had H20 insurance through DAN for the last 2 years. This year upon renewal I got a bill that almost DBLed and is about 3% of the value of the items. Has anyone elses policy go up? I am almost considering taking the risk of keeping it not insured.

Mine has not gone up in several years, but is a special rider on my home owner insurance. It covers a bunch of my divebuddy's jewellery and other expensive things as well as my scuba camera so I am not sure what the cost is for just the camera.

If you have home or tennent insurance, ask your broker for a quote.

The rest of my dive gear is fully covered at no extra cost by my home owner possession insurance.
