I've had a Galileo Luna AI till July 2024, then I dropped in deep water and it was gone :-(
Never a signal problem.
I replaced the computer only with a Luna 2.0 but for every single dive I was losing signal at least twice per dive.
When I went to the shop my friend told me it was probably due to the probe battery since when opening the probe he realised they batteries were not original panasonic (I do not remember whhen I changed them), so replaced them with panasonic ones.
Unfortunately I did no dive after replcing batteries.
Now I am about to leave to Indonesia and I am not sure if I will be able to do any diving to test.
Anyone with a similar experience? Does it make sense that non panasonic batteries in the Luna probe can create signal strenght issue with the new Luna 2.0?
thx
