My husband has worked on both the Aggressors and Sky Dancer. He is a certified Naturalist Guide as well as Dive Master for those boats, and between dives, they always lead land tours (except at Wolf & Darwin).
You know, yes, I think what they mean (specifically Ken's pharasing in his post) is that the other boats sometimes have a trip that's entirely land-based, no diving offered at all that week. The Aggressors and Sky Dancer have never done that; they are dedicated dive boats, and every trip is a dive trip. But they have certified Naturalist Guides on board (usually also the same guy who is the divemaster for the week), and they give land tours at the southern and central islands while they're anchored there for dives.
I agree that what is going to happen later (2008 & beyond), we're going to have to book it the way you're talking about: 2 separate "tours", one diving and the other land tours, because boats are going to have to offer one or the other, but not both.
