Bastards! :letsparty:
Well, in reality Scubapro is still producing parts compatible with my old 109s and 156s, dating back to the seventies and the eighties, respectively. And these parts are the same for the G250-G260.
So I would not be worried of lack of parts for this line of regs, it is the series with longer production time, and the only one which has never been discontinued, they just evolved maintaining full compatibility with the past.

@buddhasummer can probably be a little more descriptive on the NLA parts issue...
He means hard parts most likely. Scubapro still makes parts kits for nearly every reg they've ever made. But if you crack the case or damage the front cover you're not guaranteed that a newer part from another reg will fit.

I haven't dove the 420 yet but I do like having the adjustment for cold water diving. If there is any sign of a free flow I can dial the breathing effort up and keep going for a bit.

What do you do for new exhaust valves for your 156? I’ve broken a couple.

The Trident 26mm purge valve has worked for me.

Whilst Angelo is correct re cross compatibility on some parts, there are are specific parts such as case, faceplate, barrel and adj knob that in some regions are already NLA. Ditto original main diaphragm. Exhaust valve, original blue, is NLA world wide.

Some Halcyon parts might work and may be available for longer. They redesigned the Halo second stage only a year ago. Probably not as easy to source though.

You are right, actually harder to source than SP. Halcyon no longer use blue main diaphragms or blue exhaust valves. And the new face plates, well, let's not talk about that abomination.
